Hooks

Hooks are my (Penda) favourite thing to make on the forge. They are quick, and you can make several at the same time (5 irons in the fire). They also sell well!

A coat hook is interesting in that it is really two hooks in one. You can hang your coat and hat at the same time. This was my first try at one of these, but they are fairly easy to make. These are made with two holes in the vertical part that can be screwed to a wall or post.
Coats are heavy, so you want to make sure the end of the hooks are curled (rounded) so they don’t poke through the garment.
